Canoe package #1: Scarecrow to Gowganda Lake

Let us fly you to a remote lake that sits at the base of the highest point of land in Ontario.

From there your four-day (three night) adventure begins. Experience one of the last old growth pine forests in the world, hike to the highest point of land in Ontario and visit a small community that has not seen a human occupant in decades. These are only but a few things to see and do while exploring this route. Start and end dates can be modified to suit your individual needs. The prices shown are based on a three night trip however we are very willing to build modified trip prices so please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Self-guided and own equipment package price
$160.00 per person plus tax.
Price includes: seaplane transportation from our base at Gowganda lake to Scarecrow lake.

Completely outfitted package price
$ 610.00 per person plus tax

Completely outfitted and guided package price
$900.00 per person plus tax
Price includes all of the above however the trip is fully guided. Minimum 3 people on all guided trips

Package #2: Banks Lake to Elk Lake

A great introductory canoe trip this route is well laid out for the novice canoeist. On this trip your adventure begins with a 15-minute seaplane ride to Banks Lake. Once dropped off in Banks Lake you will head North on the Makobe River working your way through Alexander Lake and then into the village of Elk Lake. Total trip duration is two nights and three days.

Canoe Package #3: Gowganda to Elk Lake.

This is a canoe route for the explorer at heart. The route was established many years ago as a fur-trading route. Today it remains an incredibly scenic four-night five-day canoe route. Portages on this route are poorly marked and require basic navigation and map reading skills. Even though this route is accessed by car you will see very few other people during your trip.
